Chef James Haurey hosts speakers from Lowland Farm & Warwick Tomatoes to reveal the purpose of the relationship between chef & farmer & its necessity where consumers & their community are concerned.

Dinner guests will be connected with local food change-makers who use authentic storytelling to humanize the food system &  inspire positive cultural, economic & social change through expanding the palate. 4-courses include hors d’oeuvres & a champagne toast, coffee & tea. Visiting farmers & food producers will share special nuances and be available for Q & A throughout all courses. Wine, beer and hard cider also available. Reservations Required.

Start the week off with an indulgent dining and entertainment experience at The Grange. The Monday Music Series presents a rotating list of acclaimed pianists who transform the dining room into a piano lounge for visiting diners.

The small club atmosphere and cozy ambiance make for an intimate experience. the well-rounded lineup of pianists add energy to Monday evening dinners. Performances are from 6:30-8:30pm every Monday, year-round. Headliners include:

Chew ‘N View presents “Big Night”

Due to popular demand, Big Night will hit the screen again during the March 19 Chew ‘N View! This month, eight-courses will build up to what some consider the true star of the film – Timpano! You won’t want to miss out again on Chef Haurey’s dedication to creating this culinary masterpiece!

Love is on the Menu for Valentine’s Day

February’s Chew ‘N View dinner and a movie delivers a full romantic experience for diners on Sunday, February 12 at 4:00pm. The secret presentation of one of Hollywood’s most notable films is dripping in romance. The four-course menu will be perfectly suited to the movie, setting the mood for food and film lovers, and hopeless romantics.

directed by Ed D. Wood and starring everyone’s favorite campy actress, Vampira!

4-Course Prix Fixe Family Style Meal & Movie: Similar to this new adventure of entree-tainment, the event menu will be in the expected experimental and ambitious style that The Grange has come to be known. An additional full-service selection of beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase.

A line up of blockbuster, independent, art, B rated, and even cult classic films available from the public domain, will be projected onto a projection screen suspended from the indoor brick wall of the dining room, on a monthly rotation.

Two seatings will be offered at 12:00pm and 4:00pm; taking seating reservations for the 4:00pm showing first. Upcoming movies will be announced on The Grange facebook page.

Specialized menu suggests new taste experience for lunch diners

As of Thursday, June 30th, our new lunch and dinner hours and menus will become more specialized in order to provide lunch diners the opportunity to branch out and experience the taste of of our seasonal creative entrees from the chalk board.
LUNCH: served from 12pm daily with the last seating at 4:30pm; with the exception of Sunday when the last seating will be at 3:30pm. The sandwich menu will be available during lunch only, and the chalk board entrees will now be available during this service as lunch portions.
DINNER: served daily beginning at 5pm, with the exception of Sunday when dinner begins at 4pm.
We look forward to giving all our guests the chance to taste the bounty of our region with the new entree option at lunch.

Rich Fibers Art Exhibit by Stephanie J. Roth

‘Rich Fibers’ is the latest art exhibit to grace the walls of The Grange Restaurant and Local Market in Warwick, NY through July 2016 with a special after-hours art opening scheduled for June 26 from 5:00-7:30pm . Artist Stephanie Joyce Roth presents her self-commissioned collection of sheep paintings inspired by a visit to the Catskill Merino Sheep Farm in Goshen, NY. This most recent work of Roth captures the essence of daily activity and interaction amongst a flock of sheep.


Décor and ambience at The Grange are not the only characteristics that suit the current art exhibit by Roth. The symbiotic relationship between the venue, the art subject, the farm and its purveyors and caretakers, and the artist weaves a story that portrays the benefits gained through mutual interaction of local farmers, the businesses that sell locally farmed products and the community support of both.

Catskill Merino Farm_Lambing“During a spring visit to Catskill Merino Sheep Farm, I instantly felt the love and dedication that Shepherdess  Dominique Herman holds for these magnificent creatures,” said Roth. A photograph taken at sunset of ewes on the pasture during lambing season was shown to Roth prior to her visit. She was overcome by the beauty of the birthing of the lambs and was immediately compelled to capture and share these images even before she visited the farm. “Dominique has a unique bond with the sheep and allowed me to interact with the herd and feel the connection that they share. I was immediately inspired to illustrate this undeniable tie that Dominique has with the sheep on canvas,” Roth explained. The ‘Rich Fibers’ series depicting everyday life of sheep on the farm was born.

Artist Stephanie Roth, owner of The Grange Jim Haurey and shepherdess  NY, specializing in acrylic media on canvas, wood and other found objects. Roth’s extensive body of work captures the unconscious essence of people, animals, places and objects through her eclectic use of color and texture and has been highlighted in several group and solo exhibitions throughout the Hudson Valley. 





Stephanie Roth_StudioRoth co-owns ‘A Working Studio’ situated in the heart of the Warwick Village where a collection of her art can be viewed during studio hours and she is also on staff at The Grange. Roth holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from William Paterson University. Her life is her art and her family and being in nature with her two happy dogs and partner, Brittney Hiller who is the sous chef at The Grange.
